olive juice + pastries

amazing race – father/daughter team.  such a close knit family.  let’s listen in, shall we?

daughter in the taxi with her father, "I love you soooo much"

father, perusing the current clue, "lithuania…they make great pastries as I understand it"

daughter then gets this quizzical look on her face, most likely realizing a teensy communication challenge she and her dad share. 

well, she was pretty vague and he might have thought she was saying "olive juice so much" and he’s all  "yes!! that’s my daughter.  and she thinks we’re so alike… hey, juice goes great with pastries…. pastries, hmm…..our next stop is lithuania..I’m going to encourage her line of thinking and talk about pastries…yumm… I’m hungry"

    haha! “Like that episode of Seinfeld, where” George takes the plunge and tells the girl he loves her, and she responds, “Want to get dinner?”
    oooh, they went to Lithu?! I’m half, did you know? My daddy can speaka da Lithu cuss words. I had NO idea they were known for their pastries. I thought potatoes for sure.

    HA! funny stuff. i am glad the blonds went home last night. those stilts looked hard!

    I was happy too!
    bet if we polled people, everyone would be happy they left.
    the counting was funny. I know if cameras were following me and caught everything I said and did, everyone would be out of breath from laughing…. so I enjoyed the fact that one person missed 10 when they counted. 387, 388, 389…400!
