Morning's Light

Sylvain requested some photos from me recently which were just posted today.  Thank you, Sylvain!

Am recovering from a sleep-deprived weekend with eight adults and 24 teenagers but it was an amazing bonding time.  Will post photos soon.  Here’s a summary of the weekend:

• three hours of driving
• 13 pizzas devoured
• 20 bottles of soda consumed
• 32 people in attendance
• 2 hours of sleep in one night
• 5 vehicles in the entourage home
• 1 car lost power (mine)
• 2 vans in a ditch
• 1 tractor + 2 belts + 2 sons = help pulling a 15 passenger van out of the ditch where one wheel was off the ground. (stressed kids in the van, calm kids outside the van.  not a good mix). And if by stressed, I mean "freaked out" then yeah – stresed.
• 1,000 smiles and hugs. 

After being in such close quarters for 24 hours with so many people, it felt odd to return to a quiet apartment.

And now, winter continues – freezing rain over solid ice + inches of snow to fall by morning.  Those of you in warm places?  be happy! 🙂
