Dollhouse_kitchen

Happy with Cookie magazine’s "Nesting" blog entries on dollhouses that readers are making.  This is an adorable kitchen!  I never had a dollhouse as a child…could be time to remedy that!

Speaking of kitchens..I was ordered to stay out of the kitchen last night!  In a conversation with a family friend who is a nurse, she recommended I try the "Nothing In" approach (fasting for twelve hours)  to help things settle down.

Why don’t you try the "nothing in" approach?

okay. what about saltines?

no, nothing in.

hmm..what about water?

nothing in.

right.  a banana?

no.  nothing in.

okay. I’ll try it.*

It worked.

*In hearing about this conversation, Gina reminded me today that if I’d overhead that conversation, it would have driven me nuts….. I’d have been going "what part of ‘nothing in’ do you not understand?".  Thankfully, Brenda was much more patient with me than I would have been. (hmm..did you follow that?) and we just laughed about my obliviousness.

Very cute dollhouse! I recommend you start by making a room box — a scene that you like, about the size of a shoe box. In fact you can use an actual shoe box as the base.
    You’ll be hooked immediately.
Do your doctor’s office, or the campaign HQ of your favorite candidate, or your child’s room …
