Wednesday was my nephew Hudson’s first birthday. Thus a birthday dinner of pizza with family.
Drove way too fast to arrive at church in time to meet with my junior high girls. Surprise! (or I’d just forgotten!)..a pizza party was given to the junior high kids (boys and girls) for their service project of giving to the homeless in April. Couldn’t settle anyone down to have a serious discussion so they got out early.
Here’s the night.
Pizza Party #1.
PIZZA PARTY #2
Jessy is moving away this summer. She doesn’t look that sad!
Ya know…if you make that face often enough… it’ll freeze that way. Are ya payin’ attention, Youth Guy Bryan Roe???
One more week with these girls until the fall. KC is the sixth grader with the soda bottle who looks sad. She was injured in the mosh pit of the concert at church Friday night – when she headbanged too much.
KC’s doctor told her that her headbanging days are over. Nice to hear at age 12. She can tell her grandkids one day, "So I used to headbang! No, really! Why are there no photos of me doing that? Because my Headbanging Years were from the ages of 10 to 12. I had to retire early because of an injury."
