I saw a red bamboo bowl similar to this at World Market and fell instantly in love. I had visions of Chez Larsson’s baskets ‘n things that she keeps on hand to catch the clutter that accumulates on surfaces.

I bought the bowl and brought it home – smiling all the way.

The red bowl will begin as a place for change, keys and small items to gather on the bar separating the kitchen and living room.

It is that which is the goal of mine – to clear away the so-so items from my home, bare the surfaces, then gently place an item that I’ve fallen in love with on each surface.
