Morning's Light

How adorable is this little boy who has an enterprising dad? 

This weekend was the popular arts festival in town..and the level of artistic ability and creativity was through the roof! 

I stopped by the booth run by siblings Elena + Ian and caught Elena playing the guitar and Ian working on a wedding gift for a couple.

Saturday was a full day of errands, lunch at a cute diner called "My Place", a visit to the gym, then a family cookout where I only at a little bit of the amazing baked veggies, fresh salad, watermelon and a teeny slice of strawberry shortcake – before heading out to eat an appetizer at Fridays with Kirsten before we saw "Dark Knight". (Yep…longest sentence in the world AND I am just now seeing Dark Knight.  great film, a bit dark….but that's why it's in the movie title!)

It's been a good, full weekend, and now I'm home making dinner, reading a bit, and then watching some of the Olympics.  Sunday evenings at home are such a luxury!
