I waited too long today to eat something (breakfast should probably be earlier than mid-afternoon!) so I had one of those headaches that had me pinching the bridge of my nose/pressing on the sides of my nose/holding the base of my head – desperately trying to ease the pain of a headache. Ended up trying the combo of ibuprofen + eating a good dinner. I just wanted to cry. So I did. (I apologize to those people in the restaurant near me who saw my tears….oh..and the people in the cars around me on the freeway…. and my favorite librarian who thought my pink cheeks were from the zero degree weather… and my neighbor I ran into in the parking garage.)
Morning's Light
Glimpses of beauty and simplicity around the world.
There is some good news here. I ran across not one but TWO great blogs by the same author. She has lived in France and Sweden and moved a year ago to South Korea. She authors great blogs about style and life in Korea and has written style books. Since my family is Swedish, I'm enchanted by anything French, and spent years of my childhood in South Korea, I thought I should write her. So we corresponded.
I'll post photos from her blogs when she grants me permission. Meanwhile..check out these links to her blogs: This Time Now and This Time in Seoul.
Until I can post some of her photos, enjoy these other ones from the French blog Olivelse.
[By the way, if you use Google Reader, did you know that you can now select the option under Feed Settings to "Translate into my language.". I can now read the Olivelse blog instead of just looking at the pictures. Thanks, Google, for thinking of that!]
