It's a Saturday morning and I'm at the dining table with my then-three-year-old niece Mimo. We are playing the Dora the Explorer version of Candyland. As Mimo passes the special squares on the board with images on them, she bids them farewell, assuming she'll never be back that game to see those squares on the board.
I focused intently, eyes on the game, when suddenly I heard, "Bye, Tico!! Bye Tico's NUTS!!! See you, Tico's NUTS!!!!"
(in case you're wondering, Tico is a character on the show, I assume, and he's a squirrel. His part of the gameboard was a few peanuts on a square so that was a special square you could visit if you picked up the right card.)
