Morning's Light

Outside my window…blue sky with clouds (reminds me of The Simpsons sky in the opening credits) + lilacs

I am thinking…glad I woke up in time to get to the water class this morning

I am thankful for…the little things – especially when they're unexpected (like a surprise passion tea lemonade from a friend on a hot day)

From the kitchen…leftover tuna pasta salad that I made on Monday night

I am wearing…a fun sundress that looks like a painter's palette – topped by an azure cardi and the outfit is completed by a pair of shiny black ballet flats.. my "shiny shoes"!

I am creating…documents and more documents.  something I'm good at doing! 

I am going…to run errands at lunch instead of sitting on my bum and reading during lunch. 

I am reading…Knit Two – the sequel to The Friday Night Knitting Club

I am hoping…I can learn to do a proper manicure of berry polish that doesn't smudge within 90 seconds. 

I am hearing…a small oscillating fan 

Around the house…A closet containing a plethora of "stuff" – items with no home.  Have been gazing at laura cattano's blog and flickr photos to gain inspiration for living clutter free. 

One of my favorite things…this week it has been air conditioning – at home, in the car, in stores… everywhere!

A few plans for the rest of the week: work, see The Proposal, do some crafts with a friend, shop for summer clothes, watch New in Town (current Netflix selection).
