orderliness is soothing to me.
no wonder I'm drawn to these kitchen photos from a Barcelona restaurant

if only my local grocery store could transform itself into a bakery and cafe that looks like this….
According to miluccia, this home is "an apartment with retro colored accents. A nice mix of vintage furniture and objects associated with more contemporary pieces.
You know a flat has appeal when the architect himself moves in! What a pretty color combination of orange, gray and blue-gray!
Anna describes the flat as a "unique place has a kind of discrete industrial elegance about it". I agree completely.

Am charmed by the Jen's blog little birdie. Here's how Jen describes it:
It's about simple living – we're a family of three and we like growing our own food, vegetarian cooking, baking, camping, folk music, nature, Scandi interiors, colourful spaces and vintage style.
This blog was born as an orderly place to keep the home photos I found that were not all "matchy matchy" (as I call it), formally decorated homes. I was born in the States but have a feeling Europe could just as easily have been my birthplace given my fondness for non-American homes and styles.
This Parisian home of Madeleine Ably is an excellent example. I am fond of the mix of colors used as well as the vibe the home gives off that a family lives there. Well done.
