sfgirlbybay writes about a book that I realized I SIMPLY MUST HAVE! Then reason set in, and I thought to check my library system. If you can believe it, the library system for my little one-stop-sign-only town has the book. (alright…..it’s the county wide library system with a pretty impressive collection….and the county certainly has more "stop ‘n go lights" [local speak] than you can count.).
I placed a hold on the book because who knows how many other people will suddenly place a hold on it once they read sfgirlbybay’s blog entry and realize THEY TOO MUST READ THE BOOK RIGHT NOW! [and if by "read" you mean "look at all the pretty pictures!!" then yes, they must read the book]

My radio station’s morning show was about embarrassing moments today, so I called in with a story of my own. I tried unsuccessfully to cram a two minute story into two and a half seconds, and had the following dialogue:
Announcer (A): Good MORNING, Life1025!!!
S: Hello? I have an embarrassing story.
A: What’s your name???
S: Sunny
A: Well, SUNNY, what’s your story????
S: I once went to a BASEBALL GAME? and I didn’t know ANYONE? I bought a ticket from SOMEONE I DIDN’T KNOW???? and a foul ball was HIT?? and I stood UP! and I REALIZED that people around me WEREN’T STANDING and that I WAS REACHING FOR A WHITE MOON ON A DARK NIGHT.
*silence*
*crickets chirping*
S: and I LEFT A FEW MINUTES LATER!
A: (clears throat)..okay, Sunny, thanks for sharing your stoCLICK
I was catching up on some Apt Therapy – New York posts and saw these great photos. Crazy busy right now…….will write more soon – or at night if I’m able to lift my fingers and type something resembling wit for you. Weekend was good. So not long enough!
Just got a call from the library!
oh..the good news is that a book I reserved is in!

a bit of a glimpse into my office.
A few items have taken up residence in my car. I’m thinkin’ that they’d look so much better if I’d take them up to my apartment, unwrap them, and put them to use. Here’s a selection of my IKEA purchases this weekend:
Once the items are gathered together then put into place, I will post some photos! I still have to finish two "IKEA Closet Makeovers" and document that as well!

such good news! here’s another pretty home in Sweden! I found it on this blog: an angel at my table. Mari Eriksson is a photographer with a beautiful home. Her blog has more photos of her own home and also homes of others. My favorite part of the photos above is the pretty afghan on the bed and the baskets on top of the wardrobe. Oh..and the red bag hanging on the locker in the last photo.
