After catching a glimpse of Julia's London flat on Apartment Therapy (with a post title of Design Minded Organization in a London Flat I had to take a look!), I researched and found dozens of photos of her flat on her Flickr pages. I love that Julia likes cute things and has found creative ways to showcase or stow away those items. Some of my favorites below include the mirror tiles on the bathroom window, the use of the window ledge for storage, the artwork everywhere, the way she incorporated IKEA items into her non-typically-IKEA looking flat, and her personalized-with-Liberty-fabrics dressers.

Thanks to french by design for pointing the way to a new e-magazine called est ("global living with an australian twist")!
I may not have a nursery that needs some decorating but I could apply the bedroom decor to any room. Liking the mobile, the simple wood floors, and the artwork installed up to the ceiling.
Also have a new need for red bedding for spring and summer – to be tossed over crisp white sheets and pillowcases!

Happy Weekend to you! Isn't this tub + wallpaper combo cute?It is yet another weekend. This week had so many ups and downs that I'm happy to see the weekend begin.How was your week? What are your weekend plans?Hoping to post some decluttering project photos here soon, but in the meantime……found out my every email is too long but that's not going to stop my chatty email exchanges with friends.But then I cheered up when reading these stories of people becoming debt free
Cheered up even more when I saw this sign of spring despite big snowflakes falling outside my window.Maybe I don't need to tidy up at home after all..look how lovely and homey this family-fun-filled red cabinet is?! It's not perfect but it IS perfectly cheerful and holds just the right amount of items.Have a great weekend!~ s. -

good morning.
Feeling like a teenager today who is not a morning person and attempts to croak out "good morning" when spoken to. A little weekend recovery perhaps is required. Played cards with friends until the wee hours of the morning on Saturday night which then had me doing catch up work Sunday afternoon and evening. Movies watched this weekend: Lincoln Lawyer (good!) and Gnomeo & Juliet (cute, amusing and fun to catch comparisons to Shakespeare's original story).
