A "newly decorated apartment proves that style doesn't have to come at a price. Sure it's small, but creative touches — like using wooden shipping pallets as a bed frame — will easily inspire your own affordable updates."
I'm a fan of the brick wall, all the light, and the color choices!

Bea Johnson of Zero Waste Home lives a lifestyle based on experiences not belongings. She states, "Since embarking on the Zero Waste lifestyle, our lives have changed for the better: We feel happier and lead more meaningful lives, based on experiences instead of stuff. My goal is to share its incredible health, financial and time saving benefits!" Bea's blog is informative and her book an excellent read.
Reading Bea's book had me looking for reusable products here in the Midwest and was delighted to find an online shop of products created in a nearby town in a cute studio!
"An eco-conscious and budget savvy mother of four, Meg was concerned about the amount of consumables purchased and waste generated by her six member household. To cut down on expenses and waste, the first switch was to cloth diapers. Their family realized how easy the switch to cloth really was, and began the process of going waste-free in all areas of their home."
I'll be perusing her shop for some reusable non-paper towels.Sorry Costco, won't be buying those in bulk at your store anymore!
*Disclaimer:This is not a sponsored post. I'm writing about Meg's store because the products look amazing and are super cute. I haven't received anything to write this post except warm fuzzies for being kinder to the environment! And a gold star. Can't have enough of those.
