L'encre violette [the purple ink] is a French blog that is new to me. I fell instantly in love with the dolls above – including their wardrobe! The labels below (the Noel ones are my favorite) are reminders that Christmas is a mere six weeks away. Not sure how that happened!

It's FRIDAY! What grand plans do you have for the weekend? Or is it more like a low-key weekend?
I will be hanging out with family out of town then returning for church on Sunday and a very low-key Sunday – doing home projects and tidying up.

These living rooms are finalists in a Norwegian online competition. Through the third living room photo, I found a blog with some beautiful interiors of the author's home.
A friend wrote me today saying I've been quiet this week. That's a change. Usually I'm Miss Chatterbox. Guess it's just one of those weeks…..thinking too much, feeling "full" inside of unprocessed emotions, experiences, thoughts – all good things.
I should be back quite soon with stories and "guess what happened?" type of moments!

Last night was a great night. Worked out for the first time in awhile and then dashed off to meet some friends for dinner and a movie. It was blissful to spend time with people my age who are not in middle school. Great conversation over dinner then we went next door to laugh a lot during the animated movie "Megamind". This may become a habit as we discovered that this theater has $5 movies Monday through Thursday. All this and I was able to be snug in bed by 9:45 PM to get a great night's sleep!
Good times.
Just sayin'.
Ten Days: the length of time I let these cheerful photos languishing about in a folder on the computer. But today is a Monday and a great time to look at these kitchen photos. (Thanks to an Honor Roll post at Making It Lovely which reminded me that I had seen these photos before!)
Ooohh, speaking of Making it Lovely, I got to meet its creator, Nicole, at IKEA on Sunday along with her 18 month old daughter Eleanor as well. Both are adorable and charming. (two key words here at Morning's Light!)

Sharilyn has one of my favorite blogs. I adore seeing photos of her home and reading about her quality time with her daughter Adelaide. Sharilyn had a quickie giveaway the other day and I won. I WON! Talk about making one's day!
