I adore this dressing room. The wall design, the beautiful white rug, the sparseness of furnishings in the room.

Colorful inspiration for you!
Some of this goodness is via BeerlalaBlog
and one (with the clock) is from Apartment Therapy.Today I made the following photo from the 10-Cent-Designer my office computer desktop – so I can see photos of clear, pretty spaces. It worked. I have kept a clear desktop all day and organized the mother-of-all-center-pencil-drawers along with catching up on every page of backlogged filing. Inspiration sources are motivating!

Was introduced to Decor Demon yesterday and it pretty much made my day. When I see stunning photos, I can't breathe for a second, so after perusing the Decor Demon site yesterday, I told a friend, "It's a wonder I didn't faint from holding my breath so long!" Yeah – there's some mighty pretty photos at Decor Demon and some darn fine writing as well. I was laughing out loud. Who laughs out loud at a design site? Bet you're wondering what the heck Decor Demon is? Here's the scoop:
Décor Demon creator Brian Patrick Flynn is a television producer turned decorator/designer. The moniker “Décor Demon” comes from his fast-paced weekend routine of furiously raiding garage sales and flea markets for one-of-a-kind pieces. What started out of necessity as a cash-strapped film student has led to a unique design style seen in over a dozen magazines as well as seven seasons of a hit television series…When asked what prompted the idea for Décor Demon, Brian replied “I wanted to create something where design-based editorial and TV merged with funny, do-it-yourself and WTF?”.
So what the %$&* is Decor Demon? Male perspective meets interior design, with a little bit of humor thrown into the mix. Easily amused. Not so easily impressed. Our content is for the bold, the beautiful, and the bad ass. Enjoy.
When I asked Bryan Patrick Flynn (for he has one of those names whereby all three names must be pronounced together at all times) more about his site, he replied, "Decor demon is pretty much an editorial shelter magazine in blogroll format and we professionally produce, shoot, style and write our own content. We have the first broadcast quality blog-based decorating series….shot more like a movie than a makeover show."

If I lived in London, I'd frequent the Bodie and Fou shop. Since I'm in the States, I'll settle for browsing their blog and taking inspiration from their many photos and stories. If you browse their blog, be sure to find the interview that has photos of a house in France. GORGEOUS. These two have style!

So…in a sturdy Rubbermaid container in my storage locker I have heavy yearbooks belonging to both parents, siblings and all of mine.
I have pulled out one college yearbook in the past year – to find people on facebook. Now I’m over the novelty of facebook and paring down “facebook friends” to ones I am in regular contact with and not just “whats-his-face: the guy in my history class who used to chew gum every single day”.
I’m off topic. What have you done with yearbooks? Do you save them? What options are there? I seem to treat them as sacred books.

Christine of Lavender & Limes spent a day in NYC and posted these gorgeous photos! (Many more photos on her blog.) I love the sparkling of the silver, the glittering of the chandelier, and the bright colors of the quilts!

From a new magazine called Mad & Bolig….. Holly at Decor8 posted about this. That middle photo has a table that looks, I've gotta say it, fabulous! I would love to pay bills and write letters at that table, then clear off the top for a game night with family and friends, then clear it again for a buffet dinner for friends.
Then that peek from a kitchen into a living room – – the wire basket holding jars, the blue canister. So lovely!!
