Sofie's studio is quite charming! For additional photos, see this post at Solid Frog.
Glimpses of beauty and simplicity around the world.
Good morning!
My friend Gina and I love to compare notes on letting go of the extra in our lives and often compare notes and share blogs we love about a more minimalist lifestyle, like Becoming Minimalist or playing The Mins Game.
Gina started a new blog recently, and you're invited to check it out. Her focus is on living more lightly in all areas of life.
Here's what she shared of mine:
Yes, that is all the makeup I currently own and wear. My old eyeshadow got used up so I just bought this baby for $3 at the grocery store. When I get ready at the gym, I'm surrounded by women with elaborate makeup and hair routines. After getting dressed, I slip into a space between people at the mirror, apply the makeup you see above in about 90 seconds. I then step under the hand dryer placed high on the wall and use it as my hairdryer for 2.5 rounds of drying time, and I'm done. I put on a signature ring or bracelet and am out the door with my little gym bag
Lest you be even a smidgen impressed, know that this little area of my life is pretty minimalist, but my apartment and car are not. I will be joining Gina in letting go of items in my life that I don't love or need.
This is one of the prettiest homes (in the style I like of white, orderly, Scandinavian homes) I've seen in awhile!
Happy Friday to you!

Am doing a bit of clearing out at home – clearing spaces and surfaces along with making space in cupboards and shelves. Am loving the clean lines of these rooms found via mamamekko.
