Late last night, I get these Twitter updates almost simultaneously on my phone:

	Maggie Tasting menu at the new neighborhood dessert bar. Stranger next to us just said, "Hold on, I’m Twittering." 33 minutes ago from txt
	Shroni Hitting up newest local bar–wine and dessert lounge. wayyy too good. 36 minutes ago from txt

Sharona (Shroni) follows Maggie’s updates on Twitter, but Maggie does not know Sharona.

I text Sharona that Maggie from Twitter just twittered about her…

Shroni So MAYBE i went back to find maggie…YOU DONT KNOW ME!

	Maggie Holy s&%*. Small city. Turns out Sherona was the stranger who was Twittering. Sherona is the nicest "stalker" in town.

So two strangers at a bar use Twitter. Across the country, a girl gets the updates and connects the other two.  Teeny, tiny world.  Gotta love twitter, texting and fun friends who don’t mind stalking a Twitter celebrity!
