Aren't these cute photos? They're from a new-to-me blog called JOURNAL DE JOURS, a blog by Hermine in Antwerp, Belgium. She also has a Tumblr page.

I had a vacation day yesterday which produced some good news (in a way) and some bad news. The "good" news is that when my car was looked at yesterday, they found the brakes were in awful condition and so those got fixed. I feel safer driving my car now. But the bad news is that there are three oil leaks and one of them is so bad my brother recommends I start looking for a new car.

My little Honda which I've named Sophie has close to 170,000 miles on it, of which 145,000 are ones I put on the car during the last nine years. Now I have to save up to replace Sophie. Would love a Honda CR-V but that could just be wishful thinking.

That’s such a cute idea to have a journal! I also had bad news on my car but, I’ve been wanting a new car forever! The moolah is the bad thing…..New car, good thing!

I sold the car to a friend, and already have another great Honda Civic! This car may be named "Norah" after Norah Jones.
